An Entrepreneur Café brought businesses, academics and industry representatives together to share ideas on how to address some of society’s most pressing health related issues.
Eric Kihlstrom, from Aging Analytics Agency and Aging 2.0, said:“The problems we face are bigger than any one organisation. We need to work across the sectors to be successful to challenge and extend people’s healthy life expectancy.
“Working across silos is a really big challenge, healthy ageing isn’t a problem where you can just create an app and you’ve solved it, you need to work with the local authority, you need to work with the NHS, you need to work with partners, you need to work with charities, you need to work with big companies – all of those are important in solving the problem of extending people’s healthy life expectancy.”
