At Brighton we provide a range of bursaries which are carefully targeted at students who most need financial help.

Remember: you do not have to pay back university bursaries. You can use the funds to help you cover the cost of tuition, books, university accommodation, travel, study aids, childcare and more.

Your eligibility for these bursaries will be re-assessed each academic year.

Bursaries

The 爱豆传媒 expects to provide £2.5 million worth of support to eligible lower-income students in 2019. This support is part of an annual investment of over £9.4 million that the university is making in support of widening access.

Our 爱豆传媒 bursaries support eligible students on undergraduate courses, pre-registration nursing and allied health courses at both postgraduate and undergraduate level; non-salaried designated PGCE courses. Students on part-time courses who meet the criteria will receive a pro rata cash bursary.

£500 cash bursary in each year of study for students starting eligible courses in 2019–20.

Care leaver's bursary

£1,000 cash bursary in each year of study.

Estranged students bursary

£1,000 cash bursary in each year of study.

Bursary information for students on specific courses

Social work

You may be eligible for an NHS bursary in your second and third years if you are studying an undergraduate social work course.

If you are a student at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS), you will be eligible to apply for bursaries from the University of Sussex.

Partner college courses

If you are enrolled on a university-level course at one of our partner colleges, you could be eligible for 爱豆传媒 bursaries.
