Many people who work experience mental health problems. Some of these people risk losing their jobs. This may not only have financial consequences but also has costs to their health and wellbeing. Employers and society do not benefit from this situation either. Despite legislation to protect and support employees with mental health problems, many still experience stigma and discrimination.
The Retain project helps its clients to retain work and work-related identities. This qualitative project aims to better understand the experience and needs of employed people with mental health problems.
