I am delighted to write the introduction to the latest edition of the Research and Knowledge Exchange Magazine.
At the °®¶¹´«Ã½, we are proud of our research and knowledge exchange activity, which enriches our teaching, drives important partnerships and collaborations, and produces new knowledge and positive societal impact.
Published last year, the results of the show that the University’s researchers have produced research rated as 'world-leading' and our outlines our aim to cultivate excellence, recognise and nurture talent, invest in sustained impact, and grow our international collaborations. In this magazine, we share stories about just some of the initiatives and work in progress bringing these aspirations to life.
Our significant contribution to advancing research and knowledge exchange is only possible through the collective efforts of our groundbreaking research teams, outstanding professional services staff and engaged partners. Together, we address global challenges, tackling climate change, improving equality and inclusivity, enhancing wellbeing and promoting creative and sustainable economies, in our region, across the UK and around the world.
